Similarly, History had a significant female presence at nearly 60%. In contrast, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths were predominantly male, with female participation rates of 37%, 29%, and 42%, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for <\/span><b>linguistic and cultural diversity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Modern Languages had the highest percentage of students whose first language was not English (41%), followed by Physics (38%) and Maths (36%). Chemistry&#8217;s figure was slightly lower at 32%, whereas English and History had significantly fewer ESL students at 16% and 10%, respectively. When considering departments with students born outside of Australia, Modern Languages again led with 54%, while History had the smallest share at 18%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Phan_tich_tu_vung\"><\/span><b>4.
