The diagram illustrates the process of industrially recycling used paper into new usable paper rolls.
Overall, this process is divided into four clear stages, beginning with turning used paper into pulp and ending with rolling clean pulp into new paper.
During the first stage, collected waste paper is delivered on a conveyor belt and consequently soaked in a mixture of water and chemicals, turning the used paper into pulp in preparation for the next stage. The pulp mixture is then pushed through a filter in the second stage before the ink removal process.
Next, in the third stage, the filtered pulp continues to be soaked in water while an air pump is utilised to separate the ink from the pulp. Afterwards, the resulting clean pulp is run through heated rollers, during which, any excess water is drawn out. The outcome of this final stage is fresh rolls of recycled paper.

In recent years, with the prevalence of social media, celebrities are becoming increasingly influential, especially with young people. In some countries, these people can even be considered as role models. Many think this development is a positive one, while others posit that it brings more harm than good. In my opinion, while this trend has both pros and cons, the drawbacks far outweigh the benefits.
On the one hand, the influence that famous people possess can act as a source of inspiration for the youth and a tool to improve society. Young people often look up to celebrities, athletes, and public figures who have achieved remarkable success in their respective fields. As the young are highly impressionable, they could take great motivation from their idols and set ambitious goals for themselves. Moreover, with their great influence, many celebrities can use their platforms to raise awareness about global issues and promote positive changes. For example, famous people like Emma Watson and Anne Hathaway have always used their position to advocate for feminism, others like Dolly Parton and Rihanna have helped to raise awareness of children’s illiteracy.
On the other hand, the increasing impact that celebrities have on the young can bring serious adverse consequences. The image that most famous people project to the public highlights their glamorous and often materialistic lifestyles. Since many youngsters look up to celebrities as their idols and wish to lead a similar lifestyle, they may prioritise superficial values like fame, wealth and physical beauty over meaningful personal development. In addition, young people’s tendency to copy their idols’ lifestyle, who likely live extremely luxurious lives, could also lead to them setting unrealistic expectations for themselves. Thus, the increasing influence of celebrities can misdirect youngsters and hinder their self development process.
In conclusion, though celebrity influence can bring inspiration and societal improvements, it can also cause the young to have unhealthy priorities and unrealistic expectations. From my point of view, the downsides far outweigh the benefits.
